What is the duration of the event?
The event will be held for a period of 24 days starting from the 12th of March 2005 and ending on the 6th of April 2005.

What will be the distance covered during the event ?
A total distance of 241 miles will be covered during the course of the event.

How can I participate in the event ?
In order to participate in the event, you have to fill up an online registration form in the registration section of this website. Post online registration you must download a set of 5 forms, print, fill them up and post it to us. Your registration will only be considered valid once we receive the printed forms. On paper registration is compulsory.

What is the participation fee for this event?
There is no participation fee for this event. It is completely free of cost.

When is the latest date by which I can check in?
The organizers will open the office on 10th March 2005. You are required to check in by the 11th of March at the earliest.

Are there any deadlines for registration for the event?
We do not have any deadlines as such but it would be better if its done as early as possible so we can provide for more people.

I saw a Walk/Cycle option on the registration form. What does this mean?
This option means that you can either walk the distance of the march or complete it by riding a bicycle. How you cannot do the march using motorized vehicles eg: motorcycle

Will there be any similar events around the globe during that time? Can I organize an event locally?

Will there be separate accommodation for men and women ?
Yes the tents will be divided on gender basis and there will be separate accommodation for both men and women.

What will the weather be like at that time of the year during the event?
It will be summer during that time of the year and the summers are usually very hot out there.

What kind of clothing should I wear? Can I walk in shorts?
Light clothing is recommended since it will be summer time and it will really get hot during the day. Walking in shorts is ok but would not be recommended for female participants. Headwear like caps and hats are also recommended for protection from the sun.
